The Colts Neck Lions Club has adopted a two-mile stretch of Highway 34, from Phalanx Road north to Conover Road, and all of Clover Hill Road. Four times a year the club cleans up litter on these roads and bags it for pick-up by the state of New Jersey.
In 1999 the Colts Neck Lions Club began sponsoring a Leo Club at the Colts Neck High School. The Leos are off to a strong start with over 80 members. They held a clean-up at Sandy Hook Beach and raised $1500 at their “Help the Homeless Night.”
