Who We Are

The Colts Neck Lions Club was formed in 1969 and has been serving the Colts Neck Community ever since. Lions volunteer their time to humanitarian causes in their local and world communities. By conducting service projects and raising funds, Lions strive to help those in need, wherever they are.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Lions’ motto is “We Serve.”

What We Do

The Colts Neck Lions meet the third Monday of every month at 7:00pm at Huddy’s Inn. Prospective members are always welcome.

The Lions Club has run a Kentucky Derby event in the spring and a Pancake Breakfast in the fall for many years. Proceeds from these events are donated to worthy charities.

We partner with area schools to screen children for common vision conditions. Recently the club led a community effort to build a playground for visually impaired children. The Lions Sensory Den is open at Dorbrook Park, and available to all children.

Currently we are raising funds for:
• A Braille Trail in a Monmouth County Park, enabling sight impaired people to be in Nature and identify their surroundings
• Continued funding for a Playground in Wickatunk, NJ, and for Service Dogs to support Veterans
With your help we can achieve these goals.

We serve our community with road clean-ups, eyeglass recycling and other activities. We always are looking for new members. Please contact us if you have questions or would like to join us.

Come join us at our meetings and events!
